North Carolina Session Law 2021-58 modified North Carolina General Statute 159-28 to allow local governments and public authorities to use an automated system to meet the preaudit requirements of NCGS 159-28(a1) . Use of the automated system requires an annual certification to the Secretary of the Local Government Commission by the unit’s finance officer that the system meets all of the requirements specified in the statute.
The table below includes all certifications received and verified by LGC staff, and not rejected or revoked by the Secretary pursuant to authority in NCGS 159-28(a4). This table is updated nightly.
